Yeah that's the type of answer you would expect, lol. The Julian calender example is probably along the lines that Camping may use to support the new date.  The concept of 'praying it away' is a good one, lol. 

Anyhow we shall have to endure these things (or insanity) again next year anyhow, due to the mistaken belief that the Mayans fore-casted the end of the world!

Just read that Camping may have "erred" and the date is actually December 21, 2011. No. No. NO. I will not go through this insanity again. Somebody just shoot me. ;-)
