[californiadisasters] South Ops News & Notes Update (09/05/11-8PM)

09/05	2000	Wagon Fire (CA-LAC-11215258) in Agua Dulce, unified command with ANF. BLM and County land burning, 500 acres, 30% contained.   Willows Fire (CA-SQF-3282) 15 mi. north of Kernville, 310 acres 10% contained. Getting resources to the fire is difficult due to it being on the other side of the Kern River, and using rafts to get people across the river to the fire.   Canyon Fire (CA-KRN-27244) now 8,644 acres and 10% contained. Active fire, with spotting up to 1/4 mile, in all Divisions. 12 primary structures and 18 outbuildings have been destroyed.  Evacuations continue in the areas of Old West Ranch, Owens Ranch, and to 2 miles south of Oak Creek and east of Willow Springs Rd.   Figueroa Fire (CA-LPF-2238) 698 acres, 100% contained.
