MRV = City of Monrovia
I have been following this fire in the chaparral-covered ridges above Monrovia since it began but did not post on it as I kept expecting it to be knocked down rather quickly given the heavy fuels and the fact we are still in the month of April. I was so wrong! This thing just keeps chugging away and is now up to 50 acres and currently making a little run and threatens multiple homes in the City of Monrovia and is spreading up into the Angles National Forest in an area east of what burned in the Station Fire in 2010.
