It was 97° in El Cajon, 95° in Spring Valley, 94° in Santee, 93° at SDSU, Miramar, La Mesa, LA and Borrego Springs.
It was 91° in Poway, Escondido and Fallbrook, and 87° in San Diego.
Numerous small brush fires erupted in the San Diego valleys.
1932: Riverside recorded 32°, the latest freezing temperature of the season.
1931: 12" of snow fell at Tahoe City.
1908: It snowed 0.6" in Santa Ana on 4.21 and on this day, the greatest (and latest) snowfall on record.
