04/19 | 1700 | The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory that remains in effect from 9 pm this evening to 9 am PDT saturday for gusty north winds that may develop across the interstate 5 corridor and Santa Clarita valley. Gusty north winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph isolated gusts to 55 mph for the higher peaks and will develop later this evening through midmorning Saturday across the Mountains of Los Angeles and Ventura counties as well as the Santa Clarita valley. These winds will also affect portions of the San Fernando Valley and the Santa Monica mountains but wind gusts should remain just under advisory levels. |
