09/10/2019 1915 CA-SHF South Fire: 2,870 acres, 10% contained. The incident is located in steep, rugged terrain. There is a structure threat to rural private residences and ranches, as well as Tomhead Lookout and communications infrastructure. There is also a threat to prehistoric trails, historic sites, Spotted Owl and Peregrine Falcon habitat. Fire may impact a Class 1 Airshed within the Yolla Bolla Wilderness.

In Plumas County Evacuation Advisory remains for the Fluroy Bridge and Franks Valley area and Mandatory Evacuation Order remains for Murdock Crossing, Stoney Ridge and Antelope Lake areas. In Lassen County the Evacuation Warning remains along Hwy 395 from Laufman Grade to Wales Canyon and the Babcock Crossing area. Threat remains to the 5bears Hydroelectric project in Ward Creek and the Walker Mine Super-fund site.

Structures are threatened in Genesee Valley and Ward Creek areas. Evacuation order was reduced to a warning for areas along Hwy. 395 from Laughman Grade to Wales Canyon. Evacuation advisory has been issued for the Babcock Crossing area. Threat to 5 Bears Hydroelectric project in Ward Creek and to the Walker Mine Super-fund site.
09/09/2019 1830 CA-KNF Lime Fire: 1,415 acres, 0% contained. Fire behavior was active today with uphill runs and flanking observed. There is a chance of showers over the fire area tomorrow. Fire is burning in steep and rocky terrain with limited road access. Threat to structures, historical and cultural resources, Spotted Owl habitat and high value timber land.. Fire has the potential to impact Hwy. 96.
09/09/2019 1830 CA-KNF Kidder 2 Fire: 107 acres of timber, 0% contained. There is a chance of showers over the fire area tomorrow. Current threats include historical and cultural sites, private timber land and Spotted Owl habitat. .
09/09/2019 1830 CA-MDF Lone Fire: 5,737 acres grass and brush, 87% contained. Fire behavior today was limited interior pockets of heat under junipers. Threats include numerous archaeological sites, Sage Grouse Habitat.
09/09/2019 1830 CA-SHF South Fire: 2,425 acres, 5% contained. Fire behavior was moderate today with isolated torching. The incident is located in steep, rugged terrain. There is a structure threat to rural private residences and ranches, as well as Tomhead Lookout and communications infrastructure. There is also a threat to prehistoric trails, historic sites, Spotted Owl and Peregrine Falcon habitat. Fire may impact a Class 1 Airshed within the Yolla Bolla Wilderness.

Fire is located 9 miles north of Weaverville in the Trinity Alps Wilderness Area. Threats include recreational facilities and private timber lands. The fire is being managed under a confinement strategy.

09/09/2019 1830 CA-BTU Swedes Fire: 400 acres, grass, 55% contained. A threat remains to private property and watershed. Evacuation orders were lifted with re-population occurring today.
09/09/2019 1830 CA-TGU Red Bank Fire: 8,838 acres brush, 55% contained. Minimal fire activity was observed today. The threat remains to communications infrastructure on Tomhead Peak and Pattymocus Peak.
09/09/2019 1830 CA-NOD R-6 Fire: 260 acres, 80% contained. Mop up continues. All threats have been mitigated.

09/09/2019 0830 CA-MNF 1-1 Henthorne Fire: 237 acres (decrease in acreage is due to more accurate mapping) timber, 14% contained. Crews continue mop up and repair operations. The fire is being managed under unified command between the USFS and CALFIRE.
09/09/2019 0830 CA-BTU Swedes Fire: 400 acres, grass, 40% contained. There is a threat to 60 KV powerlines in the fire area. Evacuation orders and road closures remain in place. Repopultion is planned to occur today.
09/09/2019 0830 CA-TGU Red Bank Fire: 8,838 acres brush, 50% contained. Minimal fire activity was observed overnight. Evacuation orders have been lifted with repopulation complete. the threat remains to communications infrastructure.

Structures are threatened in Genesee Valley and Ward Creek areas. Mandatory evacuations in place along the Antelope Lake Rd. from Heart K Ranch to Babcock Meadows. Additional mandatory evacuations have been ordered for areas along Hwy. 395 from Laughman Grade to Wales Canyon areas and areas near Antelope Lake. Evacuation advisory has been issued for the Babcock Crossing area. Threat to 5 Bears Hydroelectric project in Ward Creek and to the Walker Mine Super-fund site. A type 1 Incident Management Team has assumed command of the incident.
