RESULTING IN FLOODING ON SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS IN MONO COUNTY ALONG AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 395. * CREEKS AND STREAMS IN WESTERN MONO COUNTY WILL CONTINUE TO RISE THIS WEEKEND...WITH AN INCREASED THREAT OF FLOODING OF HIKING TRAILS...CAMPGROUNDS AND BACK COUNTRY ROADS. * THE MAMMOTH RANGER STATION HAS REPORTED THE DEADMANS CAMPGROUND SOUTH OF JUNE LAKE IS CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... PEOPLE ENJOYING AREA RIVERS...STREAMS AND RESERVOIRS SHOULD TAKE CARE IN AND NEAR THE WATER AT ALL TIMES. * IF YOU ARE CAMPING NEAR A RIVER OR STREAM... REMEMBER THE HIGHEST WATER LEVELS MAY OCCUR AT NIGHT. A CAMPGROUND MAY LOOK DRY AND SAFE IN THE AFTERNOON...BUT MAY FLOOD AT NIGHT. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
