Is this incident a "California Disaster"? We don't know yet. We're torn
between timely reporting and waiting until we have the full story and
nobody's interested anymore.
My guess it this will turn out to be nothing, but you didn't know that at
10:17.
A couple of days ago, I reported on the possibility of tsunami. I was
reporting based on the automated USGS report of a 7.2 quake, and before the
tsunami warning were issued. When they were, they were only for AK, not a
"CA disaster".
As one moderator, my opinion is that you were not wrong in posting. In any
case, it's up to the moderators and/or owner to correct you if you're wrong.
