2009: This day was the last day of a consecutive dry streak of 164 days in San Diego, which started on 6.17.
This streak of 164 days is tied as the fourth longest dry streak on San Diego record.
This day also marks the latest end to any dry streak on record.
(The longest dry streak on record is 182 days from 4.18.2004 to 10.16.2004).
In addition, a waterspout was observed off Moonlight Beach in Encinitas.

2006: First winter storm of the season brought over a foot of snow above 8,000 feet north of Kings Canyon, with 19 inches at Tenaya Lake.

2004: 10.0 inches of snow fell at Glenbrook, NV.

2001: Santa Ana winds caused damage and a boat accident off Newport Beach.

1995: Gusty offshore winds hit the Inland Empire.
Power lines went down.
Two fires resulted, one causing explosions at an explosive factory in Chino Hills.
The other charred 130 acres in northern San Bernardino and forced evacuation of the CSUSB campus.

1981: A storm that started on this day dumped nearly two inches of rain in the LA area by 11.28.
Three feet of new snow were recorded at Big Bear Lake. Highway deaths resulted.

1970: A series of storms struck the region from 11.25 to 11.30 following large destructive wildfires in the San Bernardino and San Gabriel Mountains earlier in the fall.
9.17 inches of precipitation fell in Lake Arrowhead, 7.22 inches in Lytle Creek, 5.11 inches in Big Bear Lake, 5.02 inches in Palomar Mountain, 3.56 inches in San Bernardino, 2.63 inches in Redlands, 2.51 inches in Santa Ana, and 2.05 inches in San Diego.
Flooding inundated streets and highways in the Rancho Cucamonga area.
At least 60 homes were damaged by floods and debris flows.

1939: 0.65 inch of rain fell in San Diego in 15 minutes, the greatest 15 minute rainfall on record.

1926: 11.0 inches of snow fell at Tahoe City.

1919: Snow brought a white mantle to area hills and valleys around San Diego.
Eight inches fell in Morena, five inches at Carrizo Gorge, and four inches at Warner Springs.

1905: Wettest November day in Bakersfield, 1.50" of rain recorded.
