The weekly Drought Monitor graphic for California produced by the National Drought Mitigation Center has changed little from last week's report, although a portion of South Ops in NE Inyo county went from the "Moderate" to the "Severe" Drought category. 15.89% of the state has no drought conditions (no change), 25.22% is classified as "Abnormally Dry" (no change), 37.75% as "Moderate" (a decrease of 1.46%), and 22.60% is classified as "Severe" (an increase of 1.46%).
