Congratulations to junior student Dominique LaFond for her FIRST place win in a poetry contest sponsored by local bookstore, Alamosa Books. Dominique competed against high school students from around the city and won with her first place poem. Congratulation Dominique!
Yearbooks are on sale in the Activities Office during lunch for $65.00 until this Friday, April 20th. From April 24th books will be $70.00. Remember we sold out last year.
Seniors…are you planning to go to CNM next Fall? CNM admission representatives will be here on Thursday, April 26th during lunch to walk you through the admission and financial aid process online. You will leave the computer lab all set for next fall. Please see Mrs. Futey in room E224 to sign up to attend this on-site admission event.
SENIORS...You wish you were one two because it's time for the senior picnic and this is a seniors only event. The picnic is on April 24th. There will be Barbeque from Rudy's, a Bungee Run, Mondo Boxing and Jousting, your fabulous Senior t-shirt and you can get your yearbook early. Not only that, but we will be putting together our Class of 2012 time capsule to be opened at your 10 year reunion. You can buy your ticket starting Monday April 16th in the bookroom during lunch. Cost is $10 and you must have your student ID to purchase a ticket. This is one of your last opportunities to gather together and make memories that last a lifetime!
Newly Elected Officers of the Class of 2014, next year's Junior Class: Please meet with your class sponsors in room E203 at lunch on Wednesday, April 18th.
Converge will meet during lunch today, in Room F211. Please come to share in the fellowship and study the Word of God. All are welcome to attend.
Senior fines and fees are posted outside of the bookroom. All fees need to be paid before you may pick up your cap and gown.

PING PONG TOURNAMENT
The tournament is at lunch starting April 16th and continuing that week. It is a fundraiser for Mel Phipps

- Everyone is welcome regardless of skill

Prom Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, April 17th thru the 20th for $20.00. April 23 -27 they will be $25.00. You must have your student ID to purchase a ticket. Prom tickets will be sold to juniors and seniors only
ATHLETICS
- The softball team beat Cibola on Friday. We had four home runs in the game. One by Marley Pinon, one by Jade Gray and two by Taylor Sargent.
- Softball has a game at 3:30 today against the Storm at Cleveland
- Baseball play Rio Rancho here today at 4 PM
- Our tennis team is participating in the metro tournament this week.
