Yearbooks are on sale in the Activities Office during lunch for $65. Today is he last day to purchase a yearbook for $65.00. From April 24th books will be $70.00. Remember we sold out last year.
Attention all MESA teams going to MESA Day finals tomorrow. The bus will pick us up here at VVHS at approximately 7:35 am. Please be here by 7:10 am. We will be leaving UNM by 4 pm to return to VVHS. Thanks and see you in the morning.
The Volcano Vista Vanguard Band is performing tonight at WorldStrides Heritage Music Festival in Anaheim, CA. Awards will be held on Saturday at Disneyland! Good Luck Band!
SOPHOMORES: If you have been invited to attend the National Honor Society Induction on Wed, April 25, please meet with Mrs. Jones in room E203 for a short meeting at lunch on Monday, April 23rd.
VVHS Film Festival is this evening, April 20th at 7:00 pm in the PAC. Free Admission!!
Prom Tickets are on sale thru the 20th for $20.00. Today is the last day to purchase a ticket for $20.00. April 23 -27 they will be $25.00. You must have your student ID to purchase a ticket. Prom tickets will be sold to juniors and seniors only
SENIOR ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Any senior that purchased graduation announcements from Herff Jones/Campus Specialities if you wish to exchange them for the corrected announcement please bring them to the activities office and we will give you the corrected ones. They will be here until Friday.
Any senior wishing to be the talent at the honors assembly or at commencement please stop by the activities office to sign up between now and Friday.
Seniors…are you planning to go to CNM next Fall? CNM admission representatives will be here on Thursday, April 26th during lunch to walk you through the admission and financial aid process online. You will leave the computer lab all set for next fall. Please see Mrs. Futey in room E224 to sign up to attend this on-site admission event.
Senior fines and fees are posted outside of the bookroom. All fees need to be paid before you may pick up your cap and gown.
Seniors: If you are receiving a scholarship please stop by activities or Mrs. Futey's office in E224 to fill out a form so we can be sure to recognize you for your success. All forms are due by May 1st.
SENIORS: You wish you were one two because it's time for the senior picnic and this is a seniors only event. The picnic is on April 24th. There will be Barbeque from Rudy's, a Bungee Run, Mondo Boxing and Jousting, your fabulous Senior t-shirt and you can get your yearbook early. Not only that, but we will be putting together our Class of 2012 time capsule to be opened at your 10 year reunion. You can buy your ticket starting Monday April 16th in the bookroom during lunch. Cost is $10 and you must have your student ID to purchase a ticket. This is one of your last opportunities to gather together and make memories that last a lifetime!
ATHLETICS
The softball team beat Rio Rancho 7 to 2 yesterday. Taylor Sargent and Jade Gray both hit home runs and Kelsey Stevens pitched a great game. Thanks to all of the fans yesterday. IT WAS FUN!!!!
