[californiadisasters] Flash Flood Warning - Plumas Co. (7/02/13-PM)



FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...    CENTRAL PLUMAS COUNTY IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA...    THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF...GRAEAGLE...BLAIRSDEN...    * UNTIL 700 PM PDT    * AT 349 PM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED  A THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR  BETWEEN GRAEAGLE AND LAKE DAVIS. THESE STORMS WERE NEARLY STATIONARY.    * LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO GRIZZLY  CAMPGROUND...LAKE DAVIS AND GENESEE...PORTOLA...SLOAT...GRAEAGLE.    FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IMMINENT. RAPID RISES IN CREEKS AND  STREAMS CAN SWEEP YOU OFF YOUR FEET AND WASH OUT CAMPSITES. HIGHWAYS  70 AND 89 MAY BE IMPACTED BY FLASH FLOODING.
