Um, oh crap. That area hasn’t burned for at least 25 years and it was ooogleee then too. It’s more densely populated now with BIG dollar vineyards and homes, NOT good and still pretty breezy.
I knew ending fire season was premature but the rain later this week will help mop up. Maybe I should turn the scanner back on. Six years after retiring, I don’t listen much anymore.
One year we let fire season whimper to an end on Thanksgiving but this year ain’t it. La Nina may have some surprises left yet.
