Re: [californiadisasters] Mariposa fire

Fresnobee.com and the Merced Sun-Star have the details. 

It was 6 businesses in a strip mall in the middle of town that burned. The fire was reported about 8:30PM, and was blowing and going by the time all the fire equipment got there. Within about an hour, they had nearly stripped Mariposa County of their PCFs, and were trying to get Merced County engines and Merced and Madera County PCFs to go up there for relief.

I just got a alert from the Mariposa newspaper about a fire in downtown Mariposa that started last evening. Hwy 140 is closed and firefighters from Mariposa , Merced and Madera counties were called in ,
Has anyone heard any more on this. My Brother lives in Marioposa
