09/12/2010 | 0721 | Initial Attack Activity was light in the GACC yesterday with 11 fires for 0 acres. There are currently 2 large fires burning in the GACC: Tranquil weather pattern the next few days, as the region stays in a light westerly/onshore flow. Near normal mid September daytime temperatures, and cool, calm nights. This pattern will continue into early next week. Long range computer models indicate the potential of a stronger low pressure system to move onshore late next week...possibly with significant precipitation. |
