Canal Fire on CA-TUU started about 1534 hours and is contained at approximately 35 to 40 acres.

Gilman Fire started about 1600 hours today and at 1830 hours is contained by roads at approximately 75 acres.

Sheep Fire is at 3,915 acres and continues to actively back down to the west toward Lightning Creek.  Rattlesnake Creek trail is closed within Kings Canyon National Park. There is also an area closure in the Hume Lake Ranger District.  A temporary Flight Restriction in the area of the Sheep fire is in effect.

Pinecrest Fire has burned 301 acres.  The fire is progressing slowly with occasional torching.

Cowboy Fire is 90% contained at 827 acres. Demob is in process. One division still has problems.  Multiple sleeper fires are being discovered in the steep rocky terrain.

Clinton Fire is 100% contained at 65 acres.

Cowboy Fire is 84% contained at 827 acres. The fire, which did not spread overnight, is burning in steep, rocky terrain with difficult access.  It is burning in areas that have not burned in 70 years. Some areas have no fire history in the last 105 years. Some of the fuel is 20' high.

Pinecrest Fire, a lightning fire located 5 miles NW of the community of Pinecrest has burned 296 acres. It is being managed as a Monitor/Confine/Contain wildfire.

Palmer Fire Largest of 3 fires in Banning area along the railroad tracks, 40 acres. All fires 100% contained.

In a SE direction with a local NW wind. No threat to power lines or structures Difficult access to incident
