1991: It was 37° overnight in San Luis Obispo, a record low for June.

1967: It was 24° in Idyllwild and 28° in Palomar Mountain, each the lowest temperature on record for June.

1955: It was 41° overnight in Santa Barbara, a record low for June.

1953: Coolest high ever recorded in June in Bakersfield first recorded, 65° (This record was tied on June 8, 1965).

1923: It was 38° in Escondido, the lowest temperature on record for June.

1920: It was 36° overnight in Santa Maria, a record low for June.
