National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a red-flag warning.

Lundy, CA-INF-567 Vegetation Fire, Lee Vining Mono County,

3-5 acres, FRA. Fire is contained as of 1240.

Concerns were for afternoon strong winds and dry conditions which were forecasted.

 

Carstens Fire, CA-SNF-1216/CA-MMU-009840, Midpines, Mariposa County

Carstens Road near State Route 140

1888 acres 40% contained,

Unified command between USFS Sierra N.F., CALFIRE,

Mariposa County Fire Department, and Mariposa County Sherriff Department.

 

Hathaway Fire CA-BDF- 8526 Vegetation, Northeast of Banning, Riverside County.

USFS-San Bernardino N.F. SOCAL #2 (Garwood)

3807 acres, 80% contained.

 

Rolling Fire CA-MMU-009861, Oneals, Madera County

482 acres 100% contained.

This will be the last report for this incident.

The National Weather Service Oxnard has issued a wind advisory for the areas below passes and canyons and the more wind-prone areas in the Santa Barbara coastal areas, Santa Barbara County Mountains and Kern County Mountains and Deserts. Northerly winds will range from 15-25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

Carstens Fire, CA-SNF-1216, one mile east of Midpines, Mariposa County

Fire is at 1600 acres and 15% containment.

Hard closures are in effect for Jerseydale and Triangle Road.

Lush Meadows is in Evacuation status.

 

Hathaway Fire, CA-BDF-8526, North of the City of Banning, Riverside County

Fire is at 3807 acres with 78% containment.

Weather service predicts gusts of 40 mph this afternoon (6/18) over the fire.

 

Rolling Fire, CA-MMU-009861, Oneals, Madera County

Fire is 482 acres with 95% containment. Expected containment later today (6/18).

The two large haystacks that were burning have burned well and are almost gone.
