06/17	1715	Carstens Fire CA-SNF-1261, Midpines, Mariposa County   Carstens Road near state route 140   Incident is in unified command with USFS Sierra National Forest, CALFIRE, Mariposa County Fire Department, and Mariposa County Sherriff office.   Fire is at 1600 acres with 15% containment burning in grass, brush and timber and is located in steep and inaccessible terrain. Fire is spotting, torching and making runs.
06/17	1530	A Wind Advisory remains in effect from 5 PM this afternoon to 5 am PDT Tuesday for the Kern County mountains and deserts.   Winds: northwesterly winds gusting to 45 mph at times late this afternoon through tonight. The strongest wind gusts will occur between 900 PM PDT tonight and 300 am PDT Tuesday morning.   Locations include: Highway 14... 58... U.S. Route 395... Mojave... California City and Inyokern.
06/17	0830	Carstens Fire, CA-SNF-1216/CA-MMU-009840, Midpines, Mariposa County   Carstens Road near State Route 140 Fire 900 acres 15% contained, burning in grass, brush and timber. Central Sierra (Cooper) T/2 IMT has been mobilized to this incident as of 0700 today (6-17). Incident is transitioning the unified ordering point to the Sierra NF. The team will tentatively assume command at 1800 today.
06/17	0800	Carstens Fire, CA-SNF-1216/CA-MMU-009840, Midpines, Mariposa County   Carstens Road near State Route 140 Fire 1000 acres 0% contained, burning in grass, brush and timber   Central Sierra (Cooper) T/2 IMT has been mobilized to this incident as of 0700 today (6-17). Incident is transitioning the unified ordering point to the Sierra NF. The team will tentatively assume command at 1800 today.   Rolling Fire, CA-MMU-009861, Madera Valley O'Neals area   950 acres, 25 % Contained 1 hay barn destroyed and 2 large haystacks   Hathaway Fire, CA-BDF-8526, North of the city of Banning, Riverside County 3,807 acres, 67% contained
