The dino digger is Chris Flis who has loaded a lot of photos on Yahoo's Flickr site showing his field work collecting the bones of dinosaurs and other ancient reptiles and amphibians. Chris is apparently a professional collector but he doesn't say what his affiliations are. One of his collecting trips was in the company of the well known paleontologist Robert Bakker.
This is a good site to browse if you have any interests in seeing the real field work that produces the museum specimens. The photos are very good and include short, sometimes entertaining captions. The sets include several on Permian reptiles, and one showing the excavation of a diplodicus.
