Students watch the TV's in the hallways at lunch all this week to get information about what electives to take next year
The BSU will hold "STEP" practice after school on Tuesday and Wednesday. Practice will be held by room A113 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. New members are invited to stop by and check it out.
Attention Wing Squad: Our Campus Clean-up Project is this Saturday from 8- 10 in the morning. Report to the A-hall concourse no later than 7:45 for your assignment. Thank you for being amazing!

Wright Club will begin designing Hawkword Moments, Volcano's literary magazine, soon. Please make your submissions to H219 as soon as possible. Please limit 4 per person. The deadline is February 3rd, so it's time to get creative.
National Honor Society: Our next meeting will be Monday, Feb 3rd, at lunch in Mrs. Green's room. There will not be another meeting in January. If you need information about tutoring or to sign up for tutoring, contact one of the officers through the NHS email or the NHS Facebook page.
COUNSELING:
Advanced Placement® courses are college-level courses offered in high school. They can give you a taste of what college is like and can help you stand out on college applications. Not only that, but scoring well on the AP® Exam can get you college credit, placement out of introductory courses or both, potentially saving thousands of dollars in college tuition and fees.
Want to know more? Are you interested in signing up for an AP course next year? If so, you are encouraged to attend our very first annual AP Night on January 27 to learn about the VVHS AP program. Come see all the courses that we offer and talk with the teachers that teach them. You will also hear from some VVHS students who have gone on to college. ATHLETICS:
There will be a mandatory Golf Team meeting on Tuesday Jan 28th at lunch in Coach Cota's room A-204. Current Golf Team members must attend. If you are not on the team and you want to tryout for the Golf Team this spring season, you must attend this meeting. See Coach Cota in room A-204 for more information.
Attention all boys interested in playing soccer next year, there will be a brief informational meeting at lunch on Wednesday, January 29 in room A109. Please plan to attend or see Coach Thiebaut in A121 for information you missed. (1/29)
Congratulations to our Boys Basketball team on their win last night against the Academy. Johnny Arias led the Hawks with 22 points. Thanks to our student body for coming out and supporting us. We hope to see you at Eldorado next Wednesday.
