6/21/2019 1800 CA-MNF East Fire: 301 acres of brush and timber, 0% contained. Moderate fire behavior continues with flanking, backing and creeping observed. Fire is located in a class 1 air-shed with threats to wildlife habitat and fisheries. There is an abundance of snags in the area from the 2008 Yellow Fire burn scar. The fire is being managed using a confine strategy.
6/21/2019 1800 CA-MNF Haynes Fire: 23 acres in brush and timber, 90% contained. Fire is located in the immediate area of the East fire.
6/21/2019 1800 CA-KNF Lumgrey Fire: 207 acres grass and brush, 95% contained.
6/20/2019 1830 CA-MNF East Fire: 200 acres of brush and timber, 0% contained. Moderate fire behavior with flanking, backing and creeping observed. Fire is located in a class 1 air-shed with threats to wildlife habitat and fisheries. There is an abundance of snags in the area from the 2008 Yellow Fire burn scar. The fire is being managed using a confine strategy.
6/20/2019 1830 CA-MNF Haynes Fire: 23 acres in brush and timber, 80% contained. Reduction in fire size is due to more accurate mapping. Fire is located in the immediate area of the East fire. Moderate fire behavior was observed. Fire has a 100% full suppression strategy. There is an abundance of snags in the area due to the fire burning within the 2008 Yellow Fire burn scar.
6/20/2019 1830 CA-KNF Lumgrey Fire: 207 acres grass and brush, 90% contained
