06/24/2019 0700 CA-MNF East Fire: 390 acres of brush and timber, 20% complete. The total percent of perimeter that will be completed on the East Fire is 30%. Fire continues to back down East Ridge towards the Eel River with minimal fire activity observed.
06/23/2019 1800 CA-MNF East Fire: 378 acres of brush and timber, 10% complete. The total percent of perimeter that will be completed on the East Fire is 30%. Fire continues to back down East Ridge towards the Eel River with minimal fire activity observed.
06/23/2019 0800

CA-MNF East Fire: 350 acres of brush and timber, 5% contained. Fire behavior was minimal last night with backing and creeping observed. Fire is located in a class 1 air-shed and continues to threaten wildlife habitat and fisheries. There is a large amount of snags in the area from the 2008 Yellow Fire. The fire is being managed using a confine strategy.

CA-MNF Haynes Fire: 23 acres in brush and timber, 99% contained. Fire is located in the immediate area of the East fire.
