National Weather Service- Sacramento has issued a Fire Weather Watch in effect beginning Thursday afternoon through Saturday morning for gusty wind and low humidity. Affected areas include fire weather zones 213, 215, 217, 263, 266, and 279 Link

CA-KNF Lumgrey Fire: 207 acres grass and brush, 60% contained. Fire is burning on the north and south side of the Klamath River. State Route 96 is currently open with one way traffic control in place. State Route 96 is expected to fully open at 8:00 PM tonight.

CA-MNF East Fire: 37 acres in brush and timber, 1% contained. Reduce in acers due to more accurate mapping. Moderate fire behavior with backing, flanking and short-range spotting was observed. This fire is being managed using a confined contained strategy. There is an abundance of snags in the area due to the fire burning in the 2008 Yellow Fire burn scar.

CA-MNF Haynes Fire: 13 acres in brush and timber, 0% contained. Moderate fire behavior with backing, flanking and short-range spotting was observed. There is an abundance of snags in the area due to the fire burning in the 2008 Yellow Fire burn scar.

CA-KNF Lumgrey Fire: 197 acres grass and brush, 30% contained. Reduce in acres is due to more accurate mapping. Fire is burning on the north and south side of the Klamath River. The fire on the north side of the river has line around it. State Route 96 is currently open with one way traffic control in place. State Route 96 will be closed from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

CA-MNF Haynes Fire: 5 acres in brush and timber, 0% contained. There is an abundance of snags in the area due to the fire burning in the 2008 Yellow Fire burn scar.

CA-MNF East Fire: 50 acres in brush and timber, 0% contained. This fire is using a confined contained strategy. There is an abundance of snags in the area due to the fire burning in the 2008 Yellow Fire burn scar.

CA-KNF Lumgrey Fire: 245 acres grass and brush, 30% contained. There are two separate fires burning in the immediate area. Fire is burning on the north and south side of the Klamath River. Evacuation Warnings have been lifted. State Route 96 is currently open with one way traffic control in place. State Route 96 will be closed from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
