Times are getting more dangerous as time spirals forward ever faster and faster as we hurl headlong into whatever is coming soon. I don't know what it is for sure but I sure can feel it. The past is a useful teacher for the present.

Hi Kim,While in the USAF I was in Germany a couple hundred klicks from the East German border. In the event of a war, they would come at us with 5 to 10k tanks, we were to get the planes off the ground and then if we could run. We were expendable the planes weren't.In exercises we would practice what to do in air attacks. With gas masks on we would up and download the films that they took, get the films to the photo interpreters, one was my wife, and get them back in the air while being "attacked" by other aircraft from other bases. A couple of times they would attack then land and we would download the film of the attacks. To say the least we had a lot of fun with my crews, hide in portables units on the flight line and play cards etc. The last day of each exercise we would be hit with tactical nukes, more hiding. One time in England during the attack they were announcing the radioactive levels every half hour and about an hour before the end of the exercise at the highest level of rads they announced there would a base barbecue afterwards. Couldn't help cracking up!Just one of many stories, we had a lot of fun and I made sure my people kept our optical cameras, Infrared and side looking radars ready then sent everyone except one home. Buddy system for safety...Sorry, this came to mind because of the serious issues over there now…EnjoyOn Aug 19, 2019, at 12:06 PM, Kim Noyes <email@example.com> wrote:
