Dates Time News and Notes 08/26/2019 0725 CA-SHU Mountain Fire: 600 acres, grass and brush, 95% contained. 08/25/2019 1820 CA-NOD Horse Fire: 131 acres grass and brush, 80% contained. Minimal fire behavior occurred today with no additional growth. The decrease in acreage is due to better mapping of the incident. All structure threats on the incident have been mitigated. 08/25/2019 1820 CA-SHU Mountain Fire: 600 acres, grass and brush, 90% contained. 08/25/2019 1820 NV-CCD Long Valley Fire: 2,438 acres grass and brush, 50% contained. All evacuation Orders have been lifted in the fire area. Crews continue to make good progress strengthening control lines. 08/25/2019 0705 CA-NOD Horse Fire: 352 acres grass and brush, 55% contained. Crews made good progress overnight as fire behavior moderated with cooler temperatures and increased humidity. Threats to structures and Sage Grouse Habitat remain. 08/25/2019 0705 CA-SHU Mountain Fire: 600 acres, grass and brush, 80% contained. 08/25/2019 0705 NV-CCD Long Valley Fire: 1,700 acres grass and brush, 0% contained. Evacuation Orders have been issued in the fire area. Sage Grouse Habitat is threatened.
