So. Calif. thunderstorm brings wildfires, outages

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — A strong thunderstorm is moving through inland Southern California, with high winds downing power lines and lightning sparking several small wildfires.
The National Weather Services has issued a flash flood warning Saturday for the Antelope Valley and San Gabriel Mountains in Los Angeles County, as well as parts of Ventura, San Diego and Riverside counties.
But storms have so far hit hardest in San Bernardino County, where some 2,500 Southern California Edison customers are without power and at least three small wildfires have started in the San Bernardino National Forest.
U.S. Forest Service dispatcher Jamie Salas tells the Riverside Press-Enterprise the biggest of these fires is west of Lake Arrowhead and has consumed about 25 acres. There are no homes or structures threatened.
