LAPD ordered crowd to disperse, then started arresting those who defied two
or three warnings, and the few remaining dispersed.

Reportedly started by a radio personality as an un-permitted event. (He
disappeared immediately when the cops started coming in.)

It's all over, not a major event.

Unruly Crowd Setting Fires, Vandalizing Police Cars At Hollywood Movie

HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — Police have been unable to control an unruly crowd of
hundreds of people in Hollywood, Los Angeles Police Department Officer
Karen
Rayner said.
The crowd gathered at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre for the premiere of a
documentary on the Electric Daisy Carnival, an electronic music festival
that's notorious for how many attendees use recreational drugs.
People have refused to disperse and began throwing bottles at officers.
Police have proceeded to shoot at the crowds with bean bags.

The crowds have vandalized police cars and set fires, Rayner said.
Officials have closed Hollywood Boulevard between Highland and Orange
Avenue, Rayner says.
The Hollywood and Highland Metro Red Line station has been closed and
Hollywood Boulevard buses are being detoured to Highland and La Brea avenues
and
Sunset Boulevard, Metro announced.
