Hi Ian,
You're very welcome. And as I have a very valuable interest in CC ( a dear friend), I, too, am developing a rather large file on the CC quakes. I'm really looking forward to seeing the new map of faults once the geos are finished. And although I live in the colonies, I still fantasize about going down that road to Lyttleton and seeing the damage there.
If you should need any files that are not in your collection, just ask, as I'm surely to have them. :-)
Best,
Lin
PS How about that snow?!! Snowed even in Wellington, imagine that! I hope you're staying warm and that you keep your power on where you are. Lots of folks still out, so I've heard.

Hi Lin
Excellent article. Thanks for posting.
For us living in a currently active earthquake zone (Christchurch) reading the latest quake studies and trying to get a better understanding is re-assuring.
Hopefully all this new knowledge will be published in a year or two, meantime I am acquiring quite large files on the Christchurch quake and general quake investigation.
Cheers: Ian Mc
