09/13	1745	Canyon Fire has burned 4,000 acres and is 10% contained.  Cooper's IMT 2 will assume command with Kern County at 1800 hours today.  The fire is moving to the southeast.  CHP is assisting with traffic control. Some campgrounds are still evacuated.
09/13	0800	Sheep Fire has burned 5,261 acres and is 10% contained. The major growth is expected to be on the west perimeter.
09/13	0800	Canyon Fire reported to be about 3,000 acres,
