Dates | Time | News and Notes | 6/18/2019 | 0910 | CA-MNF East Fire: 50 acres in brush and timber, 0% contained. Fire is located in the Yolla Bolly-Middle Eel Wilderness. There are two separate fires burning in the immediate area, the East fire and the Haynes fire. Both fires were detected on 6/17/19 at 4:10 pm. The Haynes fire size is unknown and the East fire is 50 acres. The fires are burning in the 2008 Yellow fire burn scar. | 6/18/2019 | 0645 | CA-KNF Lumgrey Fire: 215 acres grass and brush, 0% contained. There are two separate fires burning in the immediate area. Fire is burning on the north and south side of the Klamath River. Structures are threatened and an Evacuation Warning is in place on the south side of Klamath River. State Route 96 is open to local traffic with CHP escort in the fire area. Fire Crews made good progress on the North side of the Klamath River | 06/17/2019 | 2035 | CA-KNF Lumgrey Fire: 150 acres grass and brush, 0% contained. Fire is located off State Route 96 near Gottsville. There are two separate fires burning in the immediate area. Fire is burning on the north and south side of the Klamath River. Structures are threatened and an Evacuation Warning is in place. State Route 96 is closed in the fire area. Map | 06/15/2019 | 0909 | CA-LNU Sand Fire: 2,512 acres grass and brush, 100% contained.
