06/08/2019 1930 Effective at 2000 tonight, North Ops will be moving to Preparedness Level 2.
06/08/2019 1930 CA-NEU Sutter North Fire: 500 acres grass, 0% contained. Fire is located north of Sutter Butte near North Butte Rd. and West Butte Rd. Fire is burning with a moderate rate of spread. Gusty north winds continue to challenge firefighting efforts.
06/08/2019 1930 CA-LNU Sand Fire: 600 acres grass and brush, 0% contained. Evacuation orders in place for the community of Guinda. Strong gusty winds continue to challenge firefighting efforts. Hwy 16 is closed in the fire area.
06/08/2019 1930 CA-LNU Ink Fire: 50 acres grass and oak woodland, 75% contained. Forward spread of the fire has been stopped.
06/08/2019 1930 CA-SCU Stuhr Fire: 600 acres grass, 75% contained. Fire activity is minimal as crews continue mop-up operations.
06/08/2019 1606 CA-LNU Sand Fire: 100 acres grass and brush, 0% contained. Fire is located near County Rd. 41 and Hwy 16 near Rumsey. Fire is burning with a rapid rate of spread due to strong gusty north winds. A Red Flag Warning remains in effect over the fire area. Map
06/08/2019 1605 CA-LNU Ink Fire: 25 acres grass and oak woodland, 50% contained. Fire is located off Pope Valley Rd, northeast of Callistoga. Fire is burning with a moderate rate of spread. Map
06/08/2019 0825 CA-SCU Stuhr Fire: 600 acres grass, 75% contained. This incident started on June 6th at approximately 1645. Forward spread of the fire has been stopped. A threat of spot fires remains due to high winds.

National Weather Service - Sacramento and San Francisco have issued a Red Flag Warning in effect beginning Saturday morning through Sunday for North winds, above average temperatures, and low humidity. Affected areas include Sacramento, San Joaquin Valley, and North Bay Hills above 1000 feet, in fire weather zones CAZ 215, 216,217,218, 219, and 507 Link

06/07/2019 0925 National Weather Service- Sacramento has issued a Fire Weather Watch in effect beginning Saturday morning through Sunday for North winds and low humidity. Affected areas include Sacramento and San Joaquin fire weather zones CAZ 215, 216,217,218 and 219.  Link
