URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE  National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard CA  303 PM PDT Mon Oct 21 2019    ...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH  FRIDAY EVENING OVER MOST OF LOS ANGELES AND VENTURA COUNTIES FOR  MODERATE TO STRONG SANTA ANA WINDS AND VERY LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...    .A Santa Ana wind event will likely bring widespread critical  conditions to most of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. There is  still some uncertainty in the strength of the winds, but peak  gusts between 40 and 60 mph is the most likely outcome. Minimum  humidities will likely lower well below 10 percent, with maximum  temperatures between 87 and 97. A decision on whether or not to  convert this watch into a Red Flag Warning will be made either  Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning. Strongest    in the mountains and hills.    * Relative Humidity...As low as 2 to 9 percent. Very poor    overnight recoveries.    * Temperature...As high as 87 to 97 degrees. The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a Fire  Weather Watch...which is in effect from late Wednesday night  through Friday evening.    * LOCATION...The San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego County    mountains, foothills and inland valleys, the San Gorgonio Pass,    and the northern portions of the Coachella Valley.    * WIND...East to northeast 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph,    strongest below the Cajon and San Gorgonio Passes, the Santa    Ana Mountains, and near the ridge tops in the San Diego County    mountains.    * HUMIDITY...Lowest humidity of 5 to 10 percent.    * TIMING...Winds will surface in the San Bernardino mountains and    valleys Wednesday night, and then into the Riverside, Orange and    San Diego County mountains and valleys near sunrise Thursday.    * OUTLOOK...Very low humidity will continue into Saturday, but    with weaker and less widespread winds. There will be greater    humidity recovery Sunday as onshore flow increases and a deep    marine layer pushes into the valleys.    * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
