With the recent news that Yahoo is dismantling their groups website and services and reducing to only an email-list, it validates our collective decision to move to Groups.io last June. Thanks for all who contributed to that sage decision. While my remaining active Yahoo Groups (and there aren't many, mainly just SoCalScan, BayScan, and LA-Rocks) are having to scramble now to figure out what they are going to do we are already now comfortably at home in Groups.io. The most popular idea they are bandinging about is to move to Facebook which is a bad idea on so many levels if Yahoo Groups format is one's default preference. The people who want to be on Facebook are already there so folks still on Yahoo Groups don't want Facebook to begin with. Anywho, they all have to figure that out for themselves. I thank all of you who have stayed with us through this process and into our new home.
