The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from noon Thursday to 6 PM PDT Friday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. * Wind...East to northeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph. Isolated gusts to 60 mph, along and near the coastal mountain slopes. * Humidity...Lowest daytime of 5 to 10 percent Thursday and 5 percent Friday, with poor overnight recovery. * Timing...Winds will develop Thursday afternoon and continue through Friday afternoon, with strongest winds Thursday night into Friday morning. * Impacts...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
